成都大学的泰国留学生马丽珍把她的成都皮影戏初体验拍得妙趣横生；内江师范学院的几内亚留学生王奥用镜头讲述了他与中国武术的不解之缘；成都工贸职业技术学院的老挝留学生李心妍则记录下自己与成都地铁的温暖日常……11月21日“万千气象 天府邂逅”2025四川省外国留学生短视频征集大赛启动以来，全省高校的留学生踊跃参与，仅一周时间目前主办方已收到全省30余所高校100多名外国留学生的参赛视频。
Ma Lizhen, a Thai student at Chengdu University, captured her first experience with Chengdu shadow puppetry in a delightfully entertaining video; Wang Ao from Guinea, studying at Neijiang Normal University, leveraged his lens to tell the story of his indissoluble bond with Chinese martial arts, while Li Xinyan from Laos, studying at Chengdu Industry and Trade College, documented the heartwarming moments of her daily commute on Chengdu Metro... Since the launch of the 2025 Sichuan International Students Short Video Competition, themed around “Capture Your Moments in Sichuan”, on November 21, international students from universities across Sichuan have enthusiastically participated in the competition. In just one week, the organizer has already received submissions from over 100 international students across more than 30 institutes.
来自西南民族大学的杨宇辰带着他的英国朋友欧文去体验“凉山汉堡”，拍下了他们一起学习制作、一起品尝的全过程。欧文对这种传统小吃特别好奇，也被它的味道惊到连连称赞。杨宇辰说，感谢这次活动，让他重新注意到这些身边的日常，“原来我们习以为常的味道，在别人眼里这么特别。”
Yang Yuchen from Southwest Minzu University brought his British friend Owen to try “Liangshan burgers”. They filmed the entire process of them learning to make and savoring the “burgers” together. Owen was particularly intrigued by this traditional snack and couldn’t stop raving about its flavor. Yang remarked that this event enabled him to rediscover the culinary treasures around him, noting, “The everyday foods we take for granted can feel so distinctive to others.”
截至发稿时，川观新闻后台活动相关留言已突破3000条。四川大学等多所高校已经开始组建专门的摄制团队，纷纷“组队出征”。成都理工大学国际教育学院的胡琳鸿老师也表示，学校正在收集稿件，同学们参与积极性高，创意点子多到停不下来。
As of press time, the number of comments received by the backend of Chuanguan News has surpassed 3,000. Multiple universities, including Sichuan University, have begun forming dedicated production teams to join the competition. Hu Linhong, a professor from the College of International Education of Chengdu University of Technology, stated that the university is collecting submissions, with students actively participating in the submission process, and everyone’s brimming with creative ideas.
在收到投稿的同时，我们也关注到不少同学反馈：希望能有更充足的时间打磨作品，指导老师也反映期末任务密集、创作时间紧张。为更好保障作品质量，经主办方研究决定，现将作品征集截止时间延长至2025年12月31日，期待大家创作出更完整、更精彩的四川故事！
While processing submissions, we have also noted feedback from numerous students expressing a desire for sufficient time to refine their works. Instructors have also reported that heavy end-of-term academic commitments have left everyone short on creation time. To ensure the quality of submissions, the organizer has decided to extend the submission deadline to December 31, 2025. We look forward to more complete and compelling stories about Sichuan!
本次大赛面向全球征集作品，设置“感知四川”“学在四川”“AI新展望”三大赛道，鼓励留学生以第一人称视角讲述他们在四川的真实体验。获奖作品将在“川观新闻”APP首页进行专题展播，并通过四川国际传播中心海外社交平台账号矩阵（含Instagram、X、YouTube及Facebook等平台）以及Kwai（快手国际版）面向全球推送。获奖者将有机会签约成为“灵感中国”拍客，接受专业短视频培训；优秀组织高校将与四川国际传播中心共建融媒实习基地，共育国际传播人才，本次大赛还将评选出一批优秀指导老师。
This competition is open worldwide for submissions and features 3 categories: “Discovering Sichuan,” “Studying in Sichuan,” and “AI-Powered Outlook on Sichuan.” It encourages international students to share their real experiences in Sichuan from a first-person perspective. Winning works will be featured on a special column on the homepage of the “Chuangguan News” APP, and will be promoted globally through the overseas social media matrix (including Instagram, X, YouTube, and Facebook) of the Sichuan International Communication Center (SICC) as well as Kwai (international version of Kuaishou). Winners will also have the opportunity to sign on as a creator for “Inspiration”, receiving professional short-video training. Outstanding organizing universities are able to co-establish a converged media internship base with the SICC to jointly cultivate international communication talents. In addition, a group of outstanding instructors will be recognized in this competition.
