希腊作家迪米崔·舒塔奇斯：中希合作树立文明对话典范|Greek Writer: China-Greece Ties a Model for Cultural Exchange

文明因交流而更加丰富，因互鉴而不断发展。在中希文明交流不断深化的背景下，第二届世界古典学大会于6月9日至10日在希腊雅典举办。四川国际传播中心特邀希腊著名作家迪米崔·舒塔奇斯，结合其文学创作经历与中希交流实践，就文学、艺术与教育在促进跨文化沟通和文明交流中的重要作用进行解读。正文如下：

作为一名热爱中国文化的希腊作家，多年来我始终怀着真诚的敬意关注中国的发展与中华文明的传承，对中国文化、艺术和历史怀有浓厚的兴趣，并致力于促进希腊与中国之间的文化交流。能够有机会访问中国，我深感荣幸，这段经历至今令我难以忘怀。

As a Greek writer with a deep appreciation for Chinese culture, I have long followed China's development and the inheritance of Chinese civilization with sincere admiration, while actively promoting cultural exchanges between Greece and China. I feel deeply honored to have had the opportunity to visit China, and the experience remains one of the most memorable in my life.

在中国访问期间，我有幸去到重庆，并在西南大学与师生们开展交流活动。听众们表现出了极大的热情，提出了许多富有见地的问题，现场轻松而真诚的交流让我深受感动。这次经历让我更加坚信，青年是未来的桥梁，他们的相识、相知与合作，将为中希关系注入持久活力。

During my visit to China, I had the opportunity to travel to Chongqing and engage with faculty members and students at Southwest University. The extremely enthusiastic audience raised many insightful questions, and I was deeply moved by the relaxed and sincere atmosphere of our interaction. This experience has reinforced my belief that young people are the bridge to the future. Through greater mutual understanding, friendship, and cooperation, they will bring lasting vitality to China-Greece relations.

文学和艺术是连接不同民族心灵的重要桥梁。通过文学作品的翻译与出版，中国读者得以更加深入地了解希腊的历史、神话和现代文学成就，而希腊读者也能够更加全面地认识中国悠久而充满活力的文化传统。

Literature and art serve as important bridges between peoples and cultures. The translation and publication of literary works enables more Chinese readers to gain a deeper understanding of Greek history, mythology, and modern literary achievements, while Greek readers can develop a fuller appreciation of China's ancient yet dynamic cultural traditions.

在这种文学与艺术交流的大背景下，我的小说《完美的仆人》也得以被翻译成中文并在中国出版。这让我有机会与更多中国读者分享自己的思考与创作，也让我更加深切地感受到文学跨越国界、连接人心的力量。从古典诗歌到当代小说，从戏剧创作到影视艺术，双方都拥有丰富的文化资源和广阔的合作空间。通过联合举办文学论坛、艺术展览、电影节、戏剧节以及驻地创作项目，两国艺术家和作家能够展开更加深入的对话，在相互学习中激发新的创造力。

Against the backdrop of such literary and artistic exchanges, my novel "The Consummate Servant" (O megalos ypiretis) has been translated into Chinese and published in China. I feel greatly honored because I can share my thoughts and creative journey with more Chinese readers. In addition, this opportunity allows me to more profoundly experience the power of literature to transcend national borders and connect different minds. From classical poetry to contemporary novels, and from theatrical works to film and television art, both China and Greece boast abundant cultural resources and vast potential for cooperation. Through jointly organizing literary forums, art exhibitions, film festivals, theater festivals, and artist-in-residence programs, writers and artists from the two countries can engage in in-depth dialogue and inspire new creative vitality through mutual learning.

与此同时，教育领域的合作也是促进两国长期友好的关键力量。大学、研究机构和文化组织可以进一步扩大交流项目，开展联合研究，推动语言教学和学术合作。鼓励青年学生参与交换学习、文化体验活动和国际研讨会，不仅能够帮助他们开阔视野，也能够培养具有全球意识和跨文化理解能力的新一代人才。

Meanwhile, educational cooperation is a crucial force driving the long-term friendship between China and Greece. Universities, research institutions, and cultural organizations may further expand exchange programs, conduct joint research, and advance language teaching and academic collaboration. Students are encouraged to participate in exchange programs, cultural experience activities, and international seminars, in an effort to broaden their horizons and cultivate a new generation of talents with global awareness and strong cross-cultural understanding.

我深信，文明之间最深刻、最持久的联系，不在于地理距离，而在于思想交流、文化互鉴以及人民之间的理解与互信。希腊和中国都是拥有悠久历史和灿烂文化的重要文明古国，两国拥有丰富的文化遗产和深邃的思想传统。在当今世界面临诸多共同挑战之际，进一步加强中希两国在艺术、文学和教育领域的合作，不仅有助于增进两国人民的友谊，也将为不同文明之间的对话与合作树立典范。

I firmly believe that the deepest and most enduring connections between two civilizations are not shaped by geographical proximity, but by the exchange of ideas, mutual understanding, and cultural exchange between peoples. Both Greece and China are ancient civilizations with long histories and rich cultures, possessing abundant cultural heritage and profound intellectual traditions. In today's world which faces numerous common challenges, further strengthening cooperation between China and Greece in the fields of art, literature, and education will not only deepen the friendship between our peoples, but also serve as a model for dialogue and collaboration between distinct civilizations.

回顾历史，我们不难发现，中希两大文明虽然相隔万里，却展现出许多令人赞叹的共同价值追求。古希腊哲学家苏格拉底、柏拉图和亚里士多德对真理与智慧的不懈探索，与中国孔子、孟子和老子关于道德修养、社会和谐以及人与自然关系的思考遥相呼应。两国文明都强调理性、教育、人文精神以及对知识的尊重。这种跨越时空的精神共鸣，为今天的交流与合作提供了宝贵基础。

Historically, it is clear that despite being separated by vast distances, Chinese and Greek civilizations share a wealth of admirable values and aspirations. The relentless pursuit of truth and wisdom by ancient Greek philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle resonates with the ideas espoused by Chinese sages including Confucius, Mencius, and Laozi on moral cultivation, social harmony, and the relationship between humanity and nature. Both civilizations emphasize rationality, education, humanistic spirit, and respect for knowledge. This timeless spiritual resonance provides a valuable foundation for today's exchanges and cooperation.

今天，中国和希腊都在积极倡导文明交流互鉴，倡导尊重文化多样性，反对偏见与隔阂。我始终相信，文明因交流而更加丰富，因互鉴而不断发展。艺术能够触动心灵，文学能够传递思想，教育能够塑造未来。通过这些领域更加深入、广泛而富有成果的合作，中希两国人民将进一步增进理解与信任，共同书写新时代文明交流的新篇章，为建设更加和平、包容、繁荣的世界贡献智慧与力量。

Nowadays, both China and Greece are actively advocating mutual exchanges and learning between civilizations, promoting respect for cultural diversity, and opposing prejudice and barriers. I have always believed that civilizations are enriched by communication and continue to evolve through mutual learning. Art has the power to touch one's soul, literature transmits ideas, and education shapes the future. Based on deeper, broader, and more fruitful cooperation in these fields, the peoples of China and Greece will further enhance mutual understanding and trust, thereby jointly writing a new chapter in dialogue between civilizations in the new era, while contributing wisdom and strength to building a more peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous global community.
