狐狸身手矫健，身体纤细，给人一种机敏灵动的感觉，但是也有一种“另类狐”，因为长了一张迷茫厌世的方脸，成了动物界的网红，大家手机里的表情包。它就是藏狐，青藏高原地区最为常见。论长相，藏狐明显不如赤狐妩媚，也不如沙狐清秀，但是它却更适应高海拔生活。
The fox is often brisk, slender and agile, but there is a kind of fox that has become a popular meme for its world-weary face. The Tibetan fox is most commonly seen in the Tibetan Plateau. It is obviously not as charming as the red fox, nor as handsome as the sand fox, but this look helps it better adapt to high altitude.
藏狐体型较小，但头部比例大，鼻吻部细长，咀嚼肌发达，因此脸更方。宽厚的鼻腔能利用更多的热量，而吸入的空气在进入肺部之前，也会在鼻腔中有个预热的过程，减少对呼吸道和肺部的刺激。
Tibetan fox has a large head in a small body. It has a square face because of its slender nasal muzzle and well-developed masticatory muscles. The wide nasal cavity utilizes more heat, and the inhaled air has a preheating process in the nasal cavity before entering the lungs, reducing irritation to the respiratory tract and lungs.
它的耳廓也相对更小，减少热量的流失。而那双始终眯成缝的小眼睛，能更好地地适应高原强烈的光照。鼠兔是它的主要食物，每天要做的事，就是“打地鼠”。捕捉食物时，藏狐总是先躲在暗处，发现目标后再压低身体、匍匐前进，接近目标时，再突然出击。偶尔，藏狐也会吃小鸟、昆虫。
They have relatively smaller ears to reduce heat loss and smaller eyes to better adapt to the intense light of the plateau. Pikas are their main food and they go whack-a-mole every day. After finding the target, they always hide in the shadows first, lowering the body and creeping forward, then suddenly attack when approaching the target. Occasionally, the fox will also eat small birds and insects.
